Pre Match. Brentford VS Liverpool. PL Match 7. Saturday October 17th. 1500 hrs

Quite possibly

Dont think Koumas is a striker.

Flo, Grav and Nyoni clicked midweek but against a far easier opposition.

We just struggle to control a game with possession and for me that is by having poor players in the full back positions that are poor in possession.

We also struggled to get the ball to Trey who is our calmest on the ball

This past week’s headline, “City dominate Liverpool at Anfield”, with no mention of the Reds being down to 10 men. This week “Liverpool Eeek out win, Against Brave 9 men Brentford”.

Trey is the calmest on the ball. The 2nd half passed him by didn’t influence it all with or with out the ball. He looked the young kid he is nothing wrong with that.

This has to be the end of Frimpong now in January the lad isn’t good enough or robust enough.

For me it didn’t pass him by, our players did as we didn’t have any poise to get the ball down and play

Noone to vote for for MOTM so no point?

I’m just trying to set up the Post match thread, and I can’t for the life of me remember how to do polls.

Forget the poll that’ll just annoy me!

Yes but he shouldn’t have needed to be. It seems to me we’re going nowhere fast. :sad_but_relieved_face:

There is a lack of belief that is a bit worrying but maybe wins like this change the mindset.

On another note, though structure is good, we look to the comfort of the structure itself rather than play the situation.

Until we get the right profiles for the pivot, we are not going anywhere.
