As well as Diaz! Presumably neither quite up for starting but we may be better off than we imagined there.

Ibou benched is brave

the slotahh!! on the bench

Or just smart management/rotation.

Cant afford to lose a CB at the moment with Gomez now needed to cover LB.

Quansah has been solid…if youre playing him, this is the game.

Glad to see Jota back

Boxing Day away can always be tricky. Doesn’t matter if it’s against Burnley.

I’d be fine if this is level until the hour mark. Players on the bench should be able to finish them off.

For even just 40 grand a week, I’ll let any cunt run me into the ground.

No issues with that XI but boy are we short of options.

Hopefully all that turkey and buck fizz has been fully digested and we’ve got enough energy to steamroll these sausages.

Someone keep an eye on @Dutch . Just in case.

Oh, I see. It’s not a PL game. It’s just a domestic cup game, hence having Konate, Diaz, Szoboszlai, Jones and Jota on the bench and Gravyboat and Gagpo in the starting eleven. Good job I’ll be asleep when this kicks off.

Of course, after my whinging, we’ll probably win five nil.

Yes it is.

Erm? Short of options? I think the options are all on the bench.

With the way Quansah is playing and konate’s history of niggles, any opportunity to get Quansah in the side is one to take

Strikeforce-step up.

Just waiting for the take-away pizzas to arrive and off we go. My wife has offered to pick them up as I’ve completely lost my voice and she didn’t trust me to communicate the order to a bemused Syrian bloke via the medium of charades.

Needless to say, I will be cheering on the boys in the style of Mutley the dog.
