Agree on Thiago, but started trying to do too much towards the end of the half, understandable with the way our other Mids are playing, but close to losing it a couple of times

Why Gini hes been far better than Fabinho.
The first chance is Alisson’s fault, not Williams. Second was Williams’ fault but he made up for it.
He’s defended well apart from that situation, do not understand all the comments in here. Ridiculous criticism.

Not playing particularly well, but have carved out many many big chances. Bobby scoring just before half time allows a little breathing space.
A couple of small adjustments by Klopp at HT should see us turn the screw more. Rhys needs to be more brave with headers rather than hesitating. Also Rhys, please stop those passing square in front of our goal passes. Asking for trouble there. Go the other way if in doubt.
Ref: C Wood keeps backing into Nat and play goes on. That’s ok if consistent. But then Mo touches Tarkowski, and ref blows for a foul.

I think that’s very much a possibility.
I think it’s Fabs positioning defensively, but otherwise he has been woeful in possession

I don’t think hes doing as well defensively as he could.

And yet up 1 and controlling the majority of the game. Should have more better chances to add to the lead if we don’t start shooting ourselves in the foot (or rather if we stop trying to shoot ourselves in the foot).

Get another and move fab back beside Nat and get Jones on.
Fabinho has been awful against WBA and today. Looks hesitant and slow.
And the forwards need to wake up - 7 or 8 shots and none on target.
Mane and Salah are wasteful. Especially Sadio - having an awful seson. Works hard, but totally incompetent infront of goal.
And someone to tell Klopp that Williams and Philips are not Baresi and Maldini. Stop that tiki-taka that is an absolute russian roullette.

We are playing too centrally, need to use the wide areas and create some space for ourselves.
