Itās a wonderful experience getting to know this new Liverpool team. Itās full of old flaws (maybe a couple of new ones too) still and have not yet properly adapted to a new style. But even if we lose this game, I will value having actually SEEN it. Thatās a big difference from last year, where I felt like I was wasting my time watching something I didnāt even enjoy, even if we sometimes did win.
And a new system, 2-1 up (maybe slightly lucky, but that happens!) against a strong Madrid side. Itās pretty good. Yes, Arneās Liverpool could have beat Madrid 2-1 on a good day, but we would have suffered as it did soā¦
