Hence my response, I thought we’d retired that last season
They are undefeated for 17 games now. Would be great if we are the ones to end that run and if possible with difference of more than a goal.
Ideally Chiesa should be starting this based on form, but we would not risk him in back to back games and expecting Gakpo to start.
Wirtz Gakpo Salah or Gakpo Isak Salah is the question as well but I think Isak starts this one, Isak probably in midfield and MacAllister from bench maybe.

Thing is the clubs they’ve played aren’t the best, bar us and that was pre season friendly.

Crystal Palace are doing very well and we will have to be up for it to win this one. Hopefully the Forest defeat last season is still reaping dividends as Slot readies the team. There are some tricky customers in the Prem, beyond the usual suspects, and Palace would be one of those.
It’s a chance for Isak to come in and do well, before presumably tiring. At that point I’m not sure how we will tackle it with Ekitike being suspended. Perhaps Chiesa will come on and continue his great form?
Should be a cracker, can’t wait.

I will be slightly surprised if we will win since we are not yet in our “best form” and they are solid. But if we do, oh my. Oh my. Because it would be quite strong indeed to beat this team away while not being in top form to say the least.
I suggest we don’t expect an easy victory though. Not that I said anything of importance, as these are thoughts probably shared by most of us regarding this game.
But if we don’t play well, if we have individuals that play quite poorly; let’s criticise but please not crucify. There is a slight tendency to be some what too caustic at times regarding individuals.

1-2. We’ll score 35-40’ , then again at about 70-75’. It won’t be comfortable though.
