I felt so sorry for him tonight. He was growing into the game and starting to find his feet, and within minutes Slot has moved him over the left. The last thing I would have done is move Wirtz.

Of course, but we need to take very seriously the delicate situation we are now in. Our early season teething was able to waved away due to us getting the results anyway and reasonable expectations that it will soon get better naturally, but it hasnt. Worse, with each game we look further away from answers, good answers at least, at what a more Slot made version of this side looks like. And that reality is creeping in at a time when our fixtures start looking tough.
We thought there was the potential for the pressure of a bad start to make Arsenal implode, but they have come through their tough run in decent shape and likely galvanized by the way they won their last points. We are now entering in to our version of that situation where disappointing results are both likely to come AND likely to heap big pressure on the group and the introduction of doubt.
It is a precarious situation that despite starting with us at the top of the league could unravel pretty quickly if we dont find some answers this weekend against Chelsea

Agreed, I believe in possession football, but the possession has to have a purpose.
