I don’t think Macca has been our worst player this season (another certain guy shipping goals comes to mind), but he has really unfortunately been one of our 4-5 poorer ones this season. Not going to shoot him, he is not alone and it’s possible he would have been better, as well as developedd better, if our general form had been better as a team.
Even so, he is poor.
Yet in that sequence Grav did very well holding up Thuram and Macca was slow to back him up inside and then got megged too easily

The players seem to have left the shackles of distraction in the changing room, and belief in their play will continue to return if we come out of this with a good result. This is not an easy ground to play at, nor a friendly crowd to front up to
I don’t think he has been amazing enough without the ball to offset it though. Some players can be so good without the ball that it offsets it, but I don’t think he is right there. Imo he should be substituted 10 min ago.
