I like how Codyās taken up different positions and getting involved. He seems to be enjoying himself. also weāre taking shots from outside the box both Dom and Alexis had decent efforts from decent scoreable positions

Front looking much livelier, not perfect overall and itās only Ipswich but the energy and the attitude is there. Just need to tighten the gaps in midfield. Aroujo not as attacking as Frimpong but we look more solid

So far so good. Friday night football is a bit like watching Tranmere in the 1980s because you want to kill time before going to Stairways. Probably time for a half time spliff before listening to Motƶrhead later.

Dom has reined in his pressing to keep more disciplined in midfield.
Whereas he would close down around three players, he seemed to press then pass on the duty to someone else.
This then makes them jump out to stop the shot, hopefully creating gaps for the pass

What a great half of football to watch! End to end stuff on both sides, physical engagement, but without nastiness until now.
The two early goals helped us to settle in very nicely. Isak was absolute dynamite on both occasions, but Gakpoās assists were as sweet as honey.
All in all, we look ithe better team and have had the better chances, even though Ipswich come to chances here and now too. Thatās because Iraola shows that he has balls of steel with that line-up: five very offensive players on the pitch. That will open up some space for the opposition, but it makes for a great game, which Iām thoroughly enjoying.
Hopefully we can continue with that high rhythm and the take the three points tonight, fingers crossed!
