Respect to Brighton too. They play nice football. I wouldn’t go quite as far as saying they were the better side first half though. And this is against a slightly weakened Liverpool side, as Slot runs the rule over one or two. We are already crowned champions so perhaps there is a little drop off, too. So I’m happy to praise Brighton, but just a bit less than you!

Agree that we are weakened and agree about the other mitigating points, of course. But I still think they played the better half. But we are more lethal.

Just discovered I’m about 30 seconds behind! Well said though. Quansah, proactive, excellent block. Gakpo gets away, nice pace and strength. Squares it for Salah to hit into an open net. Oh dear. It happens, but that’s in the context of a little dip for Mo. Hopefully he gets his goal before the end.
