Trent and Thiago at the end just brilliant to watch, just controlled the game and we were still creating add in Jones the other team will have to bring their own ball

Trent ran the game and Jones also provide that link between midfield and attack. I have been critical of Jones’s effectiveness in the final 3rd, as that pass to Jota is what I expected to see more of from him, hopefully he stays fit and produces more of what he did today, end product as he has the talent.

Not to put too much of a dampener on things but this is probably the easiest away match we will have all season due to how open Leeds play and how unnerved they’re at home due to the raucous support.
But yes, a step in the right direction for us
Close this before the whining returns.
Also you have to look at the 2nd half against Arsenal, where we dominated them with the same 11 players

Leeds are pretty bad, but under Gracia they are at least trying to be less open. The showed more adventure than many defensive sides, but for 30 mins they did well to get men behind the ball and werent contesting too much. There were periods with Virgil being unpressured on the ball 15 yards inside their half. As with most games like this, the first goal was really important.
