We were blessed with Mane and Firmino in their primes, always felt like the pair of them consistently started games well. With Gakpo and Jota it often feels like they need time to settle into games.
our midfield is slow
Early days, we have knocked it around ok, but mostly side to side, and in front of them. We haven’t been able to pull them out of position or get behind them. When Diaz and Nunez come on (I’ve seen the future, and they will sub in together) we will start to see more of next season’s attack.
Some decent pressing to get the ball back as well
