One of the things we are seeing is that we have some good midfield options at the club already. Jones is really taking hold of his opportunity now that he’s fit. Lovely to see. Bajcetic looks a great prospect too. Elliott too, although by comparison his star has waned as the season has gone on, but let’s not forget his age, and the fact that he has come into a struggling team. Elliott will come again.
Three good young options there: Jones, Bajcetic, Elliott. To say nothing of the likes of Morton, who might get their chance.
And Fabinho looks to be getting something back too, which is good to see.
All I’m saying is the level of surgery on the midfield this summer might not be as drastic as first thought.
Two good players added to the midfield and we are in business. Add a mobile central defender and let’s go!
First 5 mins there was 46% of action in Liverpool 3rd thats where notion Leicester started well came from.
