Glad we’re playing one proper CB at least. Can imagine it’s Kabak’s raw attributes that has gotten him the nod.
He’s got a lot of experience around him, so he can concentrate on the game. Henderson can guide him through. And we’ll be a threat on corners again with his heading ability.
One big difference between the teams is that Leicester’s midfield knock in the goals, so need to be tactically aware in midfield, covering the likes of Maddison and Barnes.
Don’t get excited. He’s coming off injured after 10 minutes. We all fucking know it.

It’s disappointing to see the same old set up, with Bobby up top regardless of how he plays, and Henderson not in midfield. But judging by the bench, there wasn’t much option.
I’m just craving the day when the forwards get picked on merit, either Henderson or Fabinho are in midfield week in week out, we have more fit options to rotate, and we have a game changing forward option to come from the bench.
After we outplayed them at home, Rodgers was very arrogant, saying it was all down to Leicester and refusing to acknowledge our performance. He’s the one ex Liverpool manager I don’t like, so I really hope we better them today.

Gotta say I’m nervous about this line up. I understand that Vardy against Phillips’ lack of pace would present massive problems but throwing in Kabak against one of the best strikers in the league for his debut is incredibly brave(/foolhardy?!).
I’m also not much liking Milner in midfield against the mobile midfield of Leicester. Would much prefer Thiago in there and can only assume he’s carrying a little knock? Happy to see Jones starting, however there’s a lot resting on his shoulders for this game, I feel.
