He literally came on e minutes before the foul, I’m not sure what you’d expect him to do there…

Buy Barnes.

Our subs make us worse.

Kabak not used to Ali’s style. Other defenders would’ve looked to see where Ali was as they’d know he’d be sweeping. Kabak had eyes on ball only all the way.

Bent refereeing, no need for any further explanation.

To be fair to Kabak he has to look at the ball.

Ali stays in his goal and we don’t concede

Nat Phillips not put a foot wrong. Coped well against Spurs…

Get Henderson in midfield for the next game, and Nat at the back.

But we got the decision on the penalty? If VAR is bent surely they give a marginal PEN decision? It was a foul and was right on the limit of the line…could have easily given it.

I guess we need to win Big Ears now. Again. Boring.

That’s the danger of playing an unknown, overrated youngster against a good attacking line and hoping that it will go well. Phillips did an excellent job for us, and yet he was sacrificed for this lad who comes from a team accustomed to ship six goals a game. Well, he’s in his comfort zone, isn’t he? Only three goals conceded, and only two with him involved heavily.

My take is that Kabak is already done as far as this club is concerned. Fortunately, he’s only on loan, so it means a minimal loss for the club in financial terms.

Champs to Chumps

I think Alisson is the bigger problem now

Very poor performance

But even the most myopic fair lovers must acknowledge that we were done with their first goal.
It was offside.
End of.

For those who keep banging on about the penalty as an excuse for the refereeing team…

May I just point out that he was clearly out of the box and there was no way they could justify that.

It’s worrying how we conceded 1 goal and went to pieces

Try to not give away the damn ball?

We started well but created too little in the end with our massive press. When we stopped suffocating Leicester, they pounced violently and with far greater lethality. We are not in top form and we just could not sustain the aggression and press from the first 25 min in the game. And Leicester needs few chances to score and we gave them 2-3 too many in the end. The defeat is natural when you look at how the game progressed sadly.

But it makes me feel fucking miserable and bereft of great hopes.

Worked first time round.

Hard to judge Kabak after that. Thiago is an issue.

6 games we’ve lost.
Could be 7th end if the weekend
