Pre Match | LFC v AFC Bournemouth (H) | 15/08/2025 - 8pm

Scored on his preseason debut, and in his PL debut. And they said he doesn’t put the ball in the net enough.

Disgusting, vile twat, who abused Semenyo! It shouldn’t be too difficult to identify who it was and ban them for life.

Hard to believe for me ?

May I add that he might be the first player with a palindrome name to open the scoring for the club in his debut season.

Apparently this was the incident, if it’s true then he’s not very smart at trying to disguise himself…

Thing to like about that goal is the way Hugo dropped into midfield and received the ball directly from Virgil seems to be exactly what Slot was struggling to find from his striker options last year

not a handball or a DOGSO because of the distance from the goal.

Are they simply making it up as they go ?

lol Grav who is literally suspended for a DOGSO that was on the halfway line would like a word

For me, he’s using his hands too much when defending. Needs to let go earlier

I have posted already a videoclip somewhere above, he is a disabled supporter in a wheelchair. He was near the pitch.

Ekitike looks like a smashing player. Puts himself about, shows for the ball, screens it, presses, exquisite touch, composed on the finish. Lots to like on the early impression.

Bournemouth are doing well themselves. They have had a couple of chances and are giving a good account of themselves. This is not over.

Long way to go, but I hope we add another couple as Bournemouth start to tire, They surely can’t keep this intensity up for the full 90.

Final word VAR. ugh. The defender swatted it away and stopped a clear goal scoring opportunity as Ekitike would have been through, 1v1 with the keeper. Their reasoning, that it would have only been a possible goal scoring opportunity is nonsense, and they have made a rod for their own backs.

All goalscoring opportunities are only a possibility. Ekitike would have been through, 1v1, and he might or might not have scored. But it was an opportunity, and it was denied by an inept official, and an inept VAR.

Let’s add more goals to make the mistake irrelevant to the result.

disability isn’t an excuse. Ban him.

Happy new year everyone! Probably as good as expected so far. A nice composed finish.

That VAR decision… Did they just feel they needed a controversy to get the season going?

Yes Kerkez has been poor, but I think this fixture last year was where Semenyo had the better of Robbo, he is a very good player

No excuse, just an explanation of why he was so near of the pitch and the player.

A little more control and I would relax a bit.

2 more goals and get in Endo. I would then relax a bit.

If that’s the incident, he’s in big trouble.

If we had that guy in your profile picture, we will have that control…

VAR have changed their mind about why they didn’t intervene on the handball.
