Any word on McAllister’s fitness yet ?
Of the new signings, Wirtz and Kerkez have made slowish starts so far. I can understand calls for either/both to start from the bench and be brought in on the hour mark or whatever. Personally I would start both of them as they need minutes to get up to speed in the Prem (Wirtz) and to form a defensive unit (Kerkez).
I would go with the same three up front, and the same back four that started against Newcastle, with Szoboszlai getting the nod at right back. He did very well and his stamina and all round athleticism will be needed. Then when he is advancing he is good on the ball too.
We need Konate to snap out of his lackadaisical streak. He is a very good player, but if he is not fully concentrating he gives me the jitters when a ball comes over. The way that Arsenal use set pieces means we need Konate to be on it.
This will be a very tough game. Arsenal look to have the bit between their teeth already, while we are trying to play our way into form. I’m going for a narrow Liverpool win, but to be honest, I would not be surprised by a win/loss or draw.

I was diagnosed (rather fortuitously actually) with an arrhythmia about a year after having two stents fitted. It seems to be under control now with medication. Having to have an ablation would obviously be a bit more serious. Good luck.
