Stay strong mate.
Thanks for the messages and sorry for sharing it in here it dawned on me a bit earlier. I’ve booked a trip to Munich to think of the future beyond it.
Had one of those a while back (15+ years) it wasn’t that bad. Started in lower right, they couldnt pin point the arrhythmia, went top right, couldn’t pin point it, then asked me if I wanted to try for left side, and i decided no as I was not comfortable with associated risks. It’s strange that they can ask you while they performing the procedure. They did perform a couple of ablations however could not get rid of the arrhythmia. Mine mysteriously vanished about 5 years after the procedure. Was adrenaline based so my arrhythmia episodes use to fire off at lunch time and during Liverpool games
BTW was completely gay before the procedure and left the hospital heterosexual.
I doubt that’s going happen but I will update afterwards.
But nice to hear from someone whose had it.
Thinking of you, MH.
I’m sure it will go brilliantly and Liverpool will reward you with dozens more heartstoppers in the coming months.
He’d better put me on ignore then!
Amirite??
All the best for your heart procedure, @mattyhurst ! Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery after that!
Tough game this, but it will be tough for Arsenal as well. They might be in a bit of more a good form than us, but on the day, at Anfield… they won’t look forward to it, that’s for sure. If our lads perform, the Anfield crowd will be in their ears from start to finish.
Let’s hope for the three points, our lads are absolutely capable of getting them against that lot.
We got Kavanagh for Sunday
Referee Chris Kavanagh is appointed for Liverpool vs Arsenal. Here’s his record:
Arsenal: 23 matches 11W, 7L, 5D
Liverpool: 21 matches 15W, 2L, 4D
Fun fact: He’s the first ever referee to give a red card for kicking the ball – Declan Rice vs Brighton
Always disliked him but maybe he hates them more.
For those of us watching on tv it’s going to sound like there’s no away fans at all seeing as they sing all our songs.
So if Bradley and Maca play - does this mean Wirtz off the bench? Surely Dom plays from start? https://www.thisisanfield.com/2025/08/positive-injury-updates-for-alexis-mac-allister-and-conor-bradley-vs-arsenal/?fbclid=IwRlRTSAMeSaJleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHvxxd83orty39INGO5RnR-bjFnjd8JDYVXBlSyorrzB1z7OPWfeYFX9lTGbP_aem_GBLuCiNmThyXZj9fVCqszA
I would start with :
Alisson
Bradley Gomez Virgil Kerkez
Grav
MacAllister Szoboszlai
Mo Hugo Cody
Subs : Wirtz, Endo, Ngumoha, Mamar, Chiesa, Robbo, Konate, Leoni, Jones
Bring on Wirtz in the 2nd half.
Score 2-1 to us.
Edit
On a positive…first time in ages that one could hear loud and clear the questions that’s been asked btw
Can’t imagine Gomez starting with Bradley just coming back. Hopefully Konate and Kerkez have got those errors out of their systems and will be raring to impress on Sunday.
If Macca’s fit again, there’s a conundrum in midfield, but a good one. Whoever gets the nod, it’ll be a top class line-up.
Front three pick themselves.
Looking forward to a proper football match after the scrap on Monday.
