As usual going into a game against these cunts we are going in at a disadvantage due to playing twice since they last played and having played on Wednesday night.
Plus Darren England is the ref. This is the same cunt who was VAR at Spurs and was complicit in the match-fixing which occured that day.
My main concern would be Frimpong up against Grealish. Frimpong likes to get really close to his opponent and this would be like all Grealish’s Christmas’s coming at once. He’ll spend half the game on the floor buying FK’s they can lump into the box for their yard-dogs to get on the end of. Wouldn’t mind seeing Gomez at RB but doubt it will happen.
MacAllister is another worry but I suppose if he was fit enough to come on last night then he can give us an hour here.
I’d have saved Robbo for this one and played Kerkez against Atleti.
AS hinted Jones would be back for this, would be a bonus if he is because I reckon Szoboslai will be knackered after an hour.
Expect Ekitite to start and Gakpo needs to improve on last night.

We keep talking about the advantage of not playing in week but then again that’s the disadvantage of being a successful team we could have the same advantage but not play in midweek.

I think that playing Ekitike and Isak together with Wirtz behind them would be something that he would be doing against City. A 4-3-1-2 if you will. Especially during the Afcon tournament where Salah goes.
