Patience needed. Leeds with all behind the ball making it difficult. Their gameplan of keeping it 0-0, then they’ll put DCL and others on in the final 30 minutes. Slot needs to use the subs wisely when Leeds have fresh legs on.
We’ve put in many dangerous balls in the box. Hugo needs to gamble more and be ready for the crosses.
Unfortunately the one time he did that, he couldn’t get the final touch on the fast ball played by Frimpong.
Need to keep our heads to avoid the Alison like mistake of gifting a goal to Leeds.

PS - Stephen Warnock on commentary here in America. Presumably in an effort to not be biased in favor of his former club, he has gone way too far the other way.

Difficult to break down that Leeds side. They’ve very much parked the bus. We should have had a pen and Leeds a red card. Scandalous non-decision from the ref and VA, just because Ekitike stays on his feet instead of letting himself fall down. Once again, we get fleeced by the refs.
Ekitike by far the most lively player for us. If we score, he’ll have a hand in it. Wirtz? Meh, he has shown nothing yet, and that costs us. New-year hangover? Frimpong with a few good runs and crosses. Robbo excellent, so much better than Kerkez.
Hopefully we’ll find a way during the second half, while staying solid at the back. On the basis of that first half, we deserve the three points.

It will be justified by something like ,yes, he has a hold of him but he let’s go giving Hugo free reign to pass the ball.
The moral of the story is that you need to go down to get a call.
