Can’t understand why Isak’s starting
For all their faults, each of those players gave us an identity and worked like trojans for this team.
We look like a bunch of hapless indviduals.
Isak…no run.no fight…no play..not much else..
We have 4 or 5 players playing off their defenders with a huge gaping hole in midfield when Konate/ VVD have the ball. This one’s on Slot sadly.

He is supposed to be a lot more complete of a player than that. He is supposed to be able to get involved and make things happen for his team but he’s not touching the ball we’re seemingly still trying to get on the same page
He won’t be in trouble as long as we are on course for CL qualification.

I cannot believe the amount of time we allow opposition teams to get back into shape vs us.
Not only that, once theyre back in their shape, our players are stood still in a line across the front with zero movement.
We’ve lost so much fluidity and I think Slot’s full system doesn’t work vs man to man marking. It’s also laughably easy to counter attack against.
That’s better progress though, I guess
