Pre Match | Liverpool FC V Paris St Germain | Champions League Q Final 2nd Leg | Tuesday 14th April - 20:00 (0-2 first leg)

They’re quite good at passing a ball about.

Because Gakpo is predictable

May as well sub him now, Nyoni has longer contract and not tempted by the (Argentina-Madrid) it’s a nice place to live if given the opportunity

Yes. Let them play through us.

Bug we need to be attacking, we aren’t winning this from corners, free kicks etc. We need to try put them on the back foot

Frimpong treating the ball like a bomb and the team in general being appalling in possession doesn’t bode well.

Wirtz is the only exception, but he has nothing to work with.

He’s made a few mistakes himself as well

That Isak stat of 4 touches in 1st half is amazing…i thought it was at least 2

Have we ever had a season with such a high number of serious injuries before?

Giovanni ACL
Bradley knee Ligament
Isak fibula fracture
Ekitike looks like achilles

Yes, plenty.

I like Gabby and Sturridges matching coats

Isak needs service. He was feeding off scraps.

I know it was a reply to somoeone saying the same

I guess just rotten luck

We went through centre backs in 20/21 like the first day of the Somme.

We’re still in it. Or at least, we’re still in it just as much as when it kicked off. It’s unlikely, don’t get me wrong, but I’m glad we are not even deeper in the hole.

I would be bringing on Rio to hopefully give them something to think about. If he doesn’t shine it is because PSG are so good. Not his fault. None of the others are exactly setting it alight.

A lot can change with a goal, so you never know. But saying that, if this were a boxing match you would have to say that we barely laid a glove on them and are getting outclassed.

Slot ignorimg Rio

It is the idea that we seem to be sent out in various formations with what seems to be no additional direction in patterns of play and how we should progress the play from our defensive 3rd to our attack.
