It’s painful watching him. You can see he still has the brain of a wonderful footballer, but the body just isn’t willing.

YNWA ringing out. Fans have done us proud tonight.
A very tall order, and you don’t want to sound defeatist, but we were not going to win that. But there they were, doing their job and willing the team on, cheering and hoping for something.
Credit to PSG. I would say the best team in Europe. Arguably Bayern Munich might have something to say about that. That should be the final but it can’t happen.

Time catches up to everyone, especially wingers who rely upon their pace. He still has a wonderful pass in him, but his legs are gone and he can’t beat anyone.

Creditable performance from us. Ignore the second goal as its very circumstantial. But ultimately the quality of play, the fluidity, the identity…it just wasnt there to chip away enough when up against as good a side as this.

Meh. Just coming in a few minutes ago, and the two nil comes after a lengthy possession spell of PSG. That match must not have been great to watch for you lads, I feel sorry for you.
