What’s the Wirtz injury? I thought he was just subbed as a time wasting move.
I don’t think nothing’s been announced over Wirtz, but he stopped during a sprint in a counter attack, holding his hamstring.

Slot only mentioned Isak and Bradley post game and explained Frimpong which suggests the Wirtz thing wasn’t anything.
If Bradley isn’t available and Slot was more hopeful then Ramsey has to play there.

i know we are having a compromised season and theres a lot of self inflicted issues, but some of the external factors at play really stack up against us, teams peaking in time to play us, omen breakers in games against us etc etc…

If we lose or draw I am on a self imposed ban from here until the next win for my own mental health. Better still mods shut it down for a few days.

Alexander Isak will be out for “a couple of months” after suffering a broken leg in the victory over Tottenham on Saturday.

Isak underwent surgery on Monday for a fibula fracture after Spurs defender Micky van de Ven challenged and subsequently injured the striker as he scored. Slot said: “This was for me a reckless challenge. I’ve said a lot about the tackle from Xavi Simons [on Virgil van Dijk] which was unintentional and I don’t think you’ll ever get an injury out of that, but the tackle from Van de Ven - if you make it 10 times, then 10 times there’s a serious chance a player gets a serious injury.”

Conor Bradley was also substituted through injury after the first half against Spurs and will not train with the squad before Friday. Cody Gakpo is in a “similar” situation with both players to be assessed before the weekend.

Hmmm… worst team of the league by far comes in town, surely super-motivated and determined to play their best game of the year. We have barely eleven players to put on the pitch because of all the injuries. What could possibly go wrong?
