The last game of a year we will remember for the title but also for the terrible sadness of Jota’s passing and the shock of the trophy parade horror.
Our form has improved (if not performances) and hopefully we will continue the former.

Worth remembering top of the table champions elect arsenal needed two own goals to beat these before anyone gets shitty and stroppy during the game when we ain’t 10 clear in 20 minutes. Them being shit vs them rolling over are two very different things.
Do we have news on Bradley yet? It would be useful to have him fit for this because Gomez and Szoboszlai will both be missing and with Salah away it would be useful to play Frimpong on the wing, assuming that he has calmed the fuck down by Saturday.
I guess or at least hope that it’s nothing major with Bradley and that he will be able to start.
It’s even more disappointing now that Chiesa didn’t get more minutes on Saturday, because he might have to start here. Not sure if Frimpong can start and give us 60 minutes or so.
Anyway, whoever does, we’re surely gonna use both anyway.

If Chiesa isn’t going to start against quite possibly the worst team in the Premier League ever, he might as well pack his bags and go home.

The opponent actually doesn’t matter. We will be without Gakpo, Salah, Isak and Szoboszlai.
Unless Slot starts Bradley AND Frimpong (highly unlikely) I struggle to figure out a lineup without Chiesa in it.
As for emotions, I think it might be more among both sets of fans at the start of the game and obviously the 20th minute.
But all the rest I don’t think it will be much of a factor. A game like any other. Hopefully with no unpleasant surprises…
I’m starting to believe that Slot will play Gakpo on crutches before starting Chiesa. He sort of did in the League Cup final.
