Again up forward, like last week, I feel like Jota and Diaz are both well off the pace. Yes, we could use prime Gakpo, but is he going to be prime Gakpo after being out for so long?
Again the PSG midfield getting on top. Gravy looked really tired in periods there.

An even game but we haven’t taken our chances and again Ali has helped us with some great goalkeeping.
Hating the commentary, they are bigging up PSG all the time when we have had most of the territory.
We do need to have a tactical solution to Dembele dropping deep, as on 2 occasions it has ended with a goal and a 1 v 1 with Ali

The refereeing isn’t the worst I’ve seen, but we seem to be getting reffed by European standards, and they are getting reffed by Prem standards. PSG can mix it up a bit and the ref is fine with letting them do it. But… it’s not even. We go near them and they get a free kick.
Still, that’s not the only difference. They are more athletic all over the park, while only half our team is at a similar level athletically.
Not happy with the referee but we need to concentrate on our game. Really hope Arne has an ace up his sleeve because after their goal the game is going their way. They’ve been closer to 2-0 than we have been an equalizer.

Its a piss poor excuse.
Nuenz type of game to run behind with pace, chase down balls and offer something on the air. Jota is just too small. Hes getting dominated in the air, doesn’t really have pace to get behind defenders and is just lacking confidence.

HT 0-1:
It’s not our night so far. PSG again very strong, and there is something missing in our game. That shows against strong opposition. Probably a lack of freshness. I don’t know what can be done, the game is on the knife’s edge, but there is some freshness and physical impact needed I feel. Maybe Nunez and Elliot on? That might make the opposition have a think. Maybe Gakpo as well?
Hopfully our lads will be able to dig deep and find the ressources in themselves to go past this tough opposition. Fingers crossed!

According to the stats we hadv53% possession of the ball. We had 10x shots on target and PSG 7x shots on target. It seems to be a fairly even game so far.

It’s almost the reverse of last week. We are on top but concede. I’d like to see Jones and Elliott on when they start to tire.
Ref is an arse. Aside from decision making, his positioning is dreadful and blocking some decent passing options for us.
