Pre match | Liverpool FC Vs PSG - 8pm - Tuesday 11/03/2025

They played well in Paris, and Liverpool withstood the pressure. And won the match.
The Allison performance and the smash and grab narrative belies the cold fact that we fucking won. Away from home in Europe.

We conserved yesterday. Played in second gear and won. There was zero panic about the performance. So, we should be and will be ready.

I don’t expect them to start with the same attacking approach we saw in the first leg.

It will be more controlled.

Hope we go ahead in the first half. Can not always rely on us being better second half.

Firstly I was trying to add to the post as I hadn’t written much

Relax, it’ll be a walk in the park.

Wait you’re the one saying it was 50/50.

Not I, good Sir. You need another drink.

That they’re in for a shock and when they concede the first, they’ll collapse.

Maybe they will on Tuesday, let’s hope so.

Ah yes apologies

PSG have to chase for a goal, so I expect a patient, focused performance at the back (and some chaos from a Nunez start would be welcome).

If you can’t get excited for a champions league knock out game at Anfield, when we’re top of the league, then something is definitely wrong mate

He didn’t say he wasn’t excited. I’d imagine that excitement is mixed with a bit of dread though, which is fair enough. We’ll all be excited when YNWA rings out. Anfield is made for nights like this.

I do actually feel they threw the kitchen sink a bit at us and atmosphere plus travel plus this odd way we play when we have more than 3 days off all came into play.

Plus I’ve opened up the home CL thread…

PSG ran us ragged in Paris, but they are not a significant better, more talented side than we are.

The game might be tense and nervy because they are good, but there as big a chance we will beat them on the day as there is they they will be able to turn the tie around.

It all depends on who scores first.

Apparently we’ve never conceded with Endo on the pitch. Obviously he should start, and play ninety minutes.

The cunts are cocky.

Cant wait to send ‘em back to Paris to cry over just winning a League Title.
