Yeah, we are indeed going with Wirtz coming inside from one of the sides to create the box-shape in midfield. When Robbo goes up to support down his side, I think Bradley might have to drop and stay. Be careful not to go forward too much with both.

I think this is what a lot imagined in the summer, once it was apparent Diaz was off, with him having a lot of freedom to come inside, making even more sense of Kirkez’s signing with him covering a lot of ground on the wing and offering width on that side.
