Pre-match: Liverpool v Brentford, Saturday 6th May, 17:30

Because the ‘respect’ doesn’t go both ways. 14.5mil. in poverty in the UK and these cretins are throwing a £100mil. party.

Re the anthem, there are two things Liverpool can’t afford…

  1. Giving the enemy ammunition.
  2. Jude Bellingham.

so in typical lfc injury…bobbys 3 games out is now 4

Bobby comes on for the last 20 seconds of our last match even if he’s on crutches.

Well technically wasn’t Germany at that point

4-0 easy win. United and Newcastle both lose and it gets really interesting. TAA and Curtis to absolutely boss it.

Surely we can drown out the anthem with YNWA!
Should not be a problem at all.

Or we could drown out the booing, singing the anthem.

If the club are smart, they would play the anthem at 11am, when the coronation starts, and before fans are able to get into the ground.

It pleases the P/L by playing it, and stops giving everyone ammunition with which to beat us as no fans will be in the ground to boo it, and allows us to do our usual pregame so keeps the fans happy

I’d say they want it played with all players around the centre circle

We’re playing today

Lets get some enthusiasm going :frowning_with_open_mouth:

Come on you Reds !!

Yeah, I’m no fan of the monarchy… but why is this such a debate whether to even play the anthem or not.

Play it and then the reactions are what they are, let’s not be afraid of reactions to our reactions. Who cares.

Older people in the crowd might want to sing…others not…if your a not…then don’t sing for 2 /3mins…its not that difficult…

Maybe the best thing would be to sing YNWA while it’s on. Or just continue when it finishes.

:joy:

Just do whatever you want to do.

They should get Kenny into the centre circle and sing it to him… At least the words will be correct
