When I first moved here I had lots of incredulous moments grappling with the broadcasting to try to watch the footy. I would besmirch the entire nation and explain, “The eyes of the world are on that game of football, but here in America I am reduced to watching some fella catching a bass! That’s why America will never win the World Cup!”
Fortunately it has got a lot better and now we can watch every game.
