Pre Match: Liverpool v Derby County (LC 09/11/2022)

All a bit scrappy now

He reminds me of the guy off umbrella academy

That Sibley has his boots on the wrong feet

One attempt on target each. :no_mouth:

Reminds me of this guy

The ref should book their keeper straight forward catches and falls to the floor every time, blatant time wasting bloody useless refs

Gomez should be fined every time he passes it back to the keeper.

No problem. He never does that anyway

Would have been nice to have created some better chances but other than that I think it was a perfectly decent half. Bobby Clark and Calvin Ramsay have done well.

Why are we lobbing hopeful balls in the air, play to feet and in and around them, we are smaller and therefore more nimble

Nice to see the kids play. Now let’s bring Elliott,Firmino Nunez early 2nd half and put this game to bed.

it’s frustrating, isn’t it…playing against the low block.

been our nemesis for years. seems like we’re adverse to changing tactics.

Can’t fault the effort in the first half, we do look like a team not used to playing together.
Ramsay looking good though.

Clark looks really good in possession when not given any time on the ball, he’s a step ahead of the Derby players.

We just aren’t making the right runs to really hurt Derby which is understandable given the team. Lots of nice work in front of them but we are running out of ideas in the final 3rd. It’s almost always this way when the front line is stacked with youth players so not unexpected.

HT 0-0:

Good outing from the youngsters and the squaddies out there. Derby are solid and it’s difficult to break them down, but the lads have already had some chances, and as the match goes on, they’ll get more and more. Especially if the likes of Bobby, Elliot and Nunez are called on the pitch.

It’s quite enjoying to see this game, let’s see how it pans out in the end.

On a side-note: I thought that George Sefton had taken his retreat? But his deep voice was clearly recognisable tonight, or is it someone else?

Post update

Nottingham Forest 1-0 Tottenham

Forest should be out of sight.

Tottenham have gone to pieces at the back and Sam Surridge has had two great chances.

It’s remains 1-0.

Hope I’m not speaking too soon, but it looks like Liverpool might have
broken Spursy over the weekend :0)
