Very lively - and could have had a couple goals.
Not yet back to his effervescent, smiling self but he was definitely letting his legs stretch. He had an absolutely beautiful curler that kissed the corner where the post and crossbar meet.
I am so happy he’s back with us. I missed him.
And Diaz, wow. Not sure the proper metaphor but he has skills and moves for days. I cannot imagine how dangerous he’s going to be when he gets properly bedded-in. Mane has proper backup to push him.

He did the triangles with Trent and Mo really well… Also allowed Thiago to link up further with Robbo and Diaz. Jones wasnt allowing that to happen.

Once towards the end, he hit 5th gear which I’ve not seen since the injury. Fabulous.

Can’t wait for Diaz to form the same understanding with Robbo and the rest of the team. The opponents can’t handle both Salah and Diaz.

Diaz got better support once Thiago moved towards left. Couple more training sessions and he’ll be fine.
Joel definitely getting one of my MOM votes, as per my usual, Jota also gets one, not sure who to give my 3rd. Leaning toward Virgil.

What I loved was the confidence and aggression of his off the ball running. He’s already connected to some of the other players and playing with confidence.

If Robbo started playing the way he did once Tsimikas started a few games, I am wondering what level of Mane are we going to get now given the way Diaz just played!
