Red Sea parted to assist Leicester’s opening goal. Midfield not sheilding the defence. Defence making some weird decisions.
But our best player OG turned it around.
Second half, need to get Salah and Darwin more involved. At times we’re trying to get the pass into them too quickly.
Salah offside goal - did I miss something? Sky Sports just showed it once and never talked about it again.

The offside was blatant and not even Salah disputed it. Accidental bounceback off a poor Ward clearance which hit Darwin and landed at Mo’s feet at the spot, basically. 3m offside
that was a shite performance, this midfield is hopeless . win loose today doesnt matter because we have a huge problem and its more evident than ever . there is no hope to be in top 6 let alone top 4 with this midfield. Nunez is superb no finishing yet but he causes problem to any defender he out runs them with a 2 meters head start incredible pace and power the goals will come but we have to sort this midfield , we need legs and quality now

I dunno what to say to be honest. The other day, we could have easily lost at Villa, but just about managed to sneak away with the three points because Villa missed far too many clear-cut chances.
Tonight, Leicester should be in front at half-time. Two clownish goals spare us the blushes for the time being, but let’s not beat around the bush here: our first half has been nothing else than absolutely catastrophic.
The first goal is a ridiculous amount of individual errors leading up to the goal. Leicester could have scored two other goals from similar situations.
Offensively, we aren’t there yet at all. One harmless shot on the goalie for 45 minutes ffs.
So, if our lads don’t dramatically improve their game, we’ll lose tonight, it’s really as simple as that. Fingers crossed that Klopp can find the right words and maybe make a change or two in order to improve us!

Just looking, and I think our first goal is a Trent goal as it was on target.
There is only Thiago out of the whole team that looks like he can pass the ball. Newcastle put four goals through them at their place without reply. We are becoming a joke.

We have been bad. Leicester have cut through us almost at will. Soumare and Ndidi are not a patch on our midfielders in terms of talent, but their athleticism has provided the platform for the likes of Barnes and Dewsbury-Hall to waltz right through us.
Broken record, but it’s time to add some much needed athleticism to that midfield. Klopp’s half time team talk:
“Julian, finish the deal for Caicedo. I know we said €60M and not a penny more, but let’s just agree on €65M with Brighton and get him here for January.”
As for Darwin Nunez, very unlucky on that finish. It was the effort of a talented striker. He’s away, not getting caught. Looks up, goalie advancing out, dinks it with his left foot over the keeper. After him hitting a couple into the goalie in previous games, it’s nice to see the technique is there.
OK, it came back off the post, but Sideshow Bob finished it off for us.
He’s having a good game that lad!

Would still like to see Thiago as our 6 again as he gets us playing, has more variety to open up play and is more press resistant that either Hendo or Fab, especially in regards to Hendos display today
