Pre Match: Liverpool v Manchester United - Sunday 17th December 16:30

We haven’t been playing that well recently, even though we’ve managed to grind out a few wins. Today was very poor though.

What a crock of 90m shit.

Trent was poor. Thought Mo was trying to make something happen but wasn’t getting much help

yes we been winning but our form has not been great…especially the front three…

Deserved result. Toothless in the final 3rd.

But the score is 0-0 …

…what?

can we have penalties now

Poor performance by Liverpool, cowardly one by Man Utd.

Nunez probably needs some time out of the limelight. In retrospect Gakpo’s intelligent movement would have been more useful against that kind of defence from the start.

What a load of fucking rubbish :rage:

Very disappointing result considering the shambles Man U are currently in. Had ample opportunities to win this comfortably. On the positive side - ETH gets to keep his job for longer.

At least we saw some effort from Trent. Mo was simply bad.

How many aimless balls from Trent. As soon as we got a RB we caused issues. Inverted nonsense.

Don’t agree that on balance of play, we had nearly all the game they just defended, we were the only team trying to win it.

We need to look at our play in the final 3rd, we are too predictable wingers cutting in and rarely with overlapping fullbacks. Earlier in the season we had good pass and move offence with midfielders join and getting beyond, now it is just static or when we do it a shit ball.

Always knew this game was going to be a slugfest.
Disappointed that we didn’t make the most of the few chances we had

Nunez leaving the ball to run out of bounds from the 6 yard line sums this game up perfectly.

Who opened this thread…

We’ve been playing teams who approached games with incredible conservatism. These are not games that lend themselves to players looking good

Give over.

I always thought Gakpo is a better option against that lot. But well it is what it is now.
