Pre Match | Liverpool v ManUnited | PL Matchday 19 | Sunday January 17th 16:30h | Anfield

Salah been way off again. In fact front 3 look off it.
Thiago, fab, hendo, shaq and Alison decent. The rest average

Yeah, I thought our football was excellent. Lots of quick passes, putting players in good positions. MIsfired on a couple of them, but lots to be encouraged about. Thiago with good ideas but a little rusty touch. Shaq lively and creative. Fabinho excellent in defense. Need more of the same, a little quicker.

Feels like we used up all our ability to shoot vs Palace, what the fuck has happened.

We have been the better team by quite a bit but the front 3 are letting us down again, especially Firminio. I don’t know what has happened to him, maybe just lacking confidence. We need Jota back as soon as possible. A lot of positives though - Hendo and Fabinho doing really well at CB so far. My fear is that they nick it in the second half against the run of play

Wtf…55 seconds on clock. Mane clean through!! Why is no one going nuts about that!?

In the name God when will Jota be fit !
I can’t stand much more of this.

Can someone please have shot and stop passing the buck !

Ole the one trick pony. As expected, their outside count is ridiculous.

But we should’ve slotted in one of the chances. Bobby, my oh my.

The final decision making, either pass or shoot, is letting us down. Second half will be more of the same, and you just know they’ll fluke one millimeter offside decision. We need that goal.

Need more from the front three again. Thiago having the best of it in the middle of the park but lacking sharpness up front. Neither goalkeeper has had a save to make.

Firmino needs to improve the shooting

I’m back for a quick 14min fix.

We playing well, just the final ball missing, or falling to Bobby who is struggling in front on goal, or Mane who has been offsides a few times. I think Shaq was the standout so far, yet the entire team is playing well. I like the idea of Mo and Mane switching sides.

I am surprised that they are parking the bus once again, but I guess some habits are hard to break.

Better team by a country mile. Front three just lack a bit of mojo for some time.

Jus said the same. It’s a fucking joke that pal

Expected a better tempo from us to be honest, started well but let United settle and grow in to the game.

Final ball is letting us down, especially from Firmino who is still struggling for form and is far too casual.

Robbo not been his imperious self the last few games, has a wand of a left foot but needs to vary his game, case in point, the performance from Milner against Villa.

Yes it was with kids but he varied his passing especially to feet in the box which pulled the opposition players.

Hoping we go up another gear in the second half.

Have you forgotten about the 4 months all the players had off.

Have listened to first half on radio. Sounds a bit drab. Makings of a 0-0?

I might watch 2nd half as my BP might not be too badly raised after all.

Amazed I’m still awake after that tedious crap.

Bobby’s got to come off, although I’m not sure who to bring on. Not many options on the bench, other bring Milly on and push Gini further forward. Tell him to remember Barcelona.

HT 0-0:

We are the better football team, no doubt about that. The problem so far is our lads can’t get a shot on target for their lives, not to speak of a goal…

Total domination in midfield for us, a few dangerous counters for them, but nothing our makeshift defence couldn’t deal with. 9 shots on goal vs. 1, but only one shot on goal for us (a weak shot from Firmino after a great move to get him into a good position) vs. nil for them.

If our lads want to win this game, they have to be more clinical with their last pass, and even more, with their finishing. This is simply not good enough, and of course opens the door for some dodgy event allowing the opposition to score.

Finish off these moves during the second half please, and all will be fine. If not, we’ll be in a lot of trouble.

Shaq will need to come at 60 mins, as the ref would love to give a second yellow to him.

And the ref just adores Shaw’s 30 second throw-ins…
