Nunez flop of the season.:smile:

Our attack is starting to click, itā€™s nice to see! Bring Diaz back down the left and we are going to go off.

I canā€™t wait for Harvey to grow up more! Such a precocious talent!

All he needs is to beef up a little more like Salah and learn a bit of defensive midfield positioning from Thiago, this lad will be going places!

Now this is the real Nunez we are seeing, not just getting into great positions, not just hustling and getting involved in plays but finishing off chances, difficult ones, easy ones. Now he is showing that he is progressing into a real handful. It seems he is coming onto a good run of form, a pity that the league is now breaking for 6 weeks but hope he gets a hat trick to bring to the world cup.

Good half, first 10 minutes or so still showed the weakness in our midfield with Elliott and Fabinho both unable to keep up when forced onto the back foot. However Southampton have really struggled as we finally found some footing going forward.

Elliott, Salah, Firmino and Nunez have linked up really nicely.

Trent has been noticably more reserved than usual, nowhere near as far up the pitch and its helping Gomez out quite a lot.

Robertson and Thiago also played well over the last 20 minutes.

Haaland better watch out and better not cry cause Nunez is coming to town.

Yeah of course Haaland is going to be a great player but I think we protected Nunez alot better as with Kloppā€™s usual MO and slowly grooming him into the potential they saw to blow that amount of money on him. Haaland better have a great heart for boos and having his own fans turning on him when he starts going through patches of not scoring because he is thrown right in and with a great start, he is now seen as a saviour after Aguero was gone.

Iā€™ve been trying to work out who Darwin reminds me of. I was thinking it was Peter Crouch with his telescopic legs.

However, I used to have a whippet called Eddie. He was completely oversized so looked more greyhound sized and could more or less run at that speed. He wasnā€™t exactly the brightest - lovely natured but with blancmange for brains. But he had this odd way of running which I described as semi articulated. It looked like his front end and rear end belonged to different dogs and when he was at full pelt the front end didnā€™t seem to know what ghe rear end was doing.

Anyway, thatā€™s what Darwin reminds me of.

Michael Owen perpetuating the ā€œNunez cost Ā£80 odd millionā€ media bullshit.

Fuck off owen he will cost us that if all the addons are met.

At least he said 80, for a while all the media were saying Ā£100m even though we all knew that was in euros

Just watching that last goal again, my God we have some fast attackers, they left the Southampton defense for dead

Im glad i finally found a reliable stream to replace hesgoals.

Where is itā€¦plsā€¦Iā€™m on LFCTVā€¦its quite entertaining
