That was my take as well. Spurs were throwing in some really nasty tackles, and Tierney was uninterested.

They put in 4 leg breakers without a single foul being given. We’ve tried to disengage and it’s bitten us a bit, which is why it’s so unprofessional for the refs to give teams getting battered this sort of leeway to kick their way back into a game

Bit over the top on the criticism. We’ve utterly dominated and then had a few wobbly moments, largely caused by Robertson suddenly forgetting how to kick the ball.
Other than that, a brilliant first half.
Referee performance very questionable but I still do not understand why we have a video referee if he can’t/won’t step in and send off Skipp for that tackle.
