Like everyone else, I really like the decision to play Nyoni. He has been doing well and deservedly gets the nod. He is the only midfielder who seems to have an instinct for minding the shop (notwithstanding Endo, who is a fringe player for us now).
Well done Iraola. It’s the right signal. If you are a young player, play well and there’s a path for you. If you are an established player on a big wage, you are not guaranteed a spot. It is based on merit. Long may that continue.
Arsenal are, of course, a very difficult opponent. They don’t give a lot away, so let’s see what happens. We look like we have a strong bench to change things if we need to. Get a couple back from injury (Ekitike, Leoni, Bradley) and it looks that much better again.

I hate shithousing in football. Always hated Atletico for it, hated Mourinho’s Chelsea, and am aghast that Arsenal won the league doing it last season.
