Trey Nyoni…
Thoroughly deserved. Keeping my
for him
Nyoni has earned the start through consistent good performances. Grav been inconsistent this season - great in one match and poor the next.
That’s a fantastic lineup today though, and I love the way Doni is managing the squad so far this season. Rotating when he can, rewarding young guys with increased minutes, etc.
That’s a fantastic looking bench with options to either shut up shop late on with Grav/Endo/JoGo, or bring on potential game changers in Szob/Rio/Munoz if we need a goal.
I fancy a 2-0 win today, but I’ll take any positive result.
Starting to look like a league winning side and bench.
And this isn’t a joke.
A few reinforcements and some injured players back and we are in this motherfucker up to our eyeballs.
Arsenal are going to target Trey. Hope the lad’s upto it because he’s certainly earned his start here.
Come on Reds , man for man we’re better than them.
Chlamydia?
Been there, done that.
I think this game will determine where we are at and what the benchmark is.
Can’t shake the feeling that this game’s come a little bit early for us.
Bookmarked!!

Yup. If Bradley comes back and can stay fit, then a CDM and maybe a LB in Jan and we’ll challenge all the way this season, I reckon.
Maybe a natural RW as well? I dunno.
Only thing that scares me in that Arsenal side is what haloween mask Gabriel will have on, guy is ugly enough without 1.
Fast start, couple of early goals, shock and awe.
Looking forward to Arteta crying

I think this match will be very entertaining.
Arajuo will take care of him.
Rejoice! Grav on the bench!
Downside: you’ll need a new protagonist for your “negatives” part of post match routine post. Ah, I’m sure you’ll find one.
Everybody in that starting lineup is in it due to merit and not on fame or name. Everybody in that starting lineup contributed to the results of us going in this season so far with just 1 defeat with the joint 2nd best defence in the league.
As the good saying goes, a strong defence and stable midfield wins you titles.
Would Gravenberch be more suitable for this game should Arsenal press our midfield? Maybe?

Never heard of that saying thank fuck, it sounds crap…

Maria getting on board with the STI bantz is about as expected as that Fred West gag the other day from the Caf.
26-27 is shaping up to be a bumper season.
Tziolis straight back to starting11 and Bruno on a mission to kick the shit out of our players.

I’ve been a bit taken aback by the “hughes left us a barren squad” criticisms that have been so common. So much of the success of this rides on the 3 x 100m forwards clicking, but lets assume they at least earn their place in the squad. Where that puts us is with a strong side many will fancy to win today, and a bench with really only 1 outfield player you dont see much of a role of a role for (Endo). Even if you ignore Chiesa, we’ve still got 4 senior guys working their way back, 3 of whom you’d expect back before the Jan window closes.
Unless something goes very wrong with the injuries, our transfer business will focused on issues like replacing the back up LB to give more competition to Kerkez, and moving Endo and Chiesa off the books to bring in someone that maybe will result in Frimpong, Gomez and Koumas to miss out on the match day squad.
