Had a dream that Ronnie A got a red card. Just mentioning it here so it doesn’t happen, or, if it does, I can claim clairvoyance. So a win either way.
I’m pretty sure Gakpo will start. He had a special man to man defensive task following Timber last season at the Emirates on the opposite side and did really well that night in that aspect. He might have to do something similar with Calafiori (with his ventures forward) on the opposite side tomorrow. Or maybe Barcola remains on the right, we’ll see.

It’s like he is doing Trump in the mid terms purposefully putting out the most annoying posts maybe he wants to lose the poster of the year ![]()
Juicy
If we expect City to get punished and we don’t want Arsenal to run away with the title this is a ‘must not lose’ for us.
Despite it being “early days”…if and when City are punished…Liverpool are the only team capable of stopping Arsenal from winning the league.
I just noticed a comment that the last time Arsenal came to Anfield as Champions, this happened:
What a fabulous goal, that goal should have been in contention ‘for goal of the year’.
They’ve got a top defence and we’ve struggled to score in the league. Therefore we’re twatting these today. It is written.
Mellor. Like so many. Close to being good enough but not. But he had his moment. I write like him on LFC TV
This weekend, and today especially, is the start of there being a proper race for the title, without even having to consider City.
City have not been done yet. Burnham will save them ;). Just sticking to my stereotype!
Trey!!!
Wow! Iraola is very ruthless!
Rejoice! Grav on the bench!
Downside: you’ll need a new protagonist for your “negatives” part of post match routine post. Ah, I’m sure you’ll find one.
Happy with that line up and plenty on the bench too. Szoboz and Munoz back.
Look forward to seeing how Trey goes.
Strong bench as well, plenty of options!
