In cricket, if an LBW is marginal, the review system calls umpireâs call. They give the benefit of the doubt to the on-field officials. Whilst he was technically and measurably offside. it does the game no good to measure an instance like this by the mm in such a fast game. However that would require the officials on the pitch to actually make decisions. Ultimately at the moment, the mm precision is whatâs used and he was offside.
