It really has. Many of us have struggled on a personal level as well, and then your favorite team playing such a disappointing season is just sad, as many of us need some minor euphoria in our lives these days.

When the team is going well Wijnaldum shows for the ball, keeps it, takes off pressure, keeps it simple, neat and tidy, etc. It’s unheralded work but important. He has more in his locker and can score, but usually he’s not doing that for us.
Lately for us though he is overplaying it, or going sideways and backwards too much, slowing it down and not adding enough.
And to be fair, he is but one of many sub par players this season.
Why don’t we take a shot? Our set pieces are a waste of time.
