I think the idea is this lot tend to leave a lot space behind them so really expose themselves to what Div is best at. It may not be a case of giving him a run out as much as saving everyone else…although not that Taki needs to be rested.

Day off today… rest of the week off for Thanksgiving. Had credit at the local golf club from a league I played in, two golf shirts, two pairs of shorts, that’s the shopping done. Home, exercised (mostly out of guilt for all I’m planning to eat!) And now boom! Game coming up. It’s on CBS all access here but fortunately I have that.

Will also be priceless experience for our youngsters this. This squad includes players who probably would not have played in a Champions League game had it not been for Covid Schedule and asociated injuries.
Surprised to see Origi in there instead of Minamino. The hype they were giving Taki during pre-seson made me think we’d see more of him this season.
But for Div to be getting the start here makes me think he’s struggling to make an impact because Origi has been pretty woeful in recent months.
Would loved to have seen him given a go down the middle with Salah and Mane either side as it’s so rarely happened since he arrived.
Completely agree, particularly with Klopp’s comments about Taki today. Very surprised he’s not in the Bobby role, I guess we’ll see him in the second half
My guess is that we will see that in the second half for at least part of the time, unless or until Klopp takes Mane off.
