I was relying on radio for the derby match. I had absolutely no reception driving over the Pennines. I ended up reading through the match thread on here later. God, we’re a right miserable bunch of whinging bastards, aren’t we?

From North Yks to Lancs…cannot pickup any radio signal…and the wifi gets very weak…gawd its 2023…where is this technology.
With Spurs having lost and a win getting us top of the table at least for a couple of hours, until City plays, it’s criminal if we don’t perform at 100%. Hopefully we get the result we need, but it definitely starts with the mentality, from the very first second.

Yeah sadly it’s the barren period of international fortnight after this.
The amount of international breaks is a fucking pisstake.

There aren’t any in December and January.
From September 2026 they are merging Sept/Oct with 4 matches over 16 days instead of the 2 over 9.
Probably more chance of injury but will be a bit less disruption

I’m assuming that would be a 3 week break rather than a 2 week one.
Am I misremembering it, but at one time weren’t the internationals just played midweek between domestic fixtures?
