He is fairly solid if they are running at him 1v1, but when it´s more in flow with players moving around, he is too rash. Dives in, gets caught slightly out of position and also goes long when he doesnt need to.

Doing well however need to do something about our left when defending. The chemistry between VVD, Kerkez, Gravenberch and Gakpo feels all wrong. When we need all four there seems to be just 2 when we need 2 none of them!
Wirtz playing really well, Araujo doing what’s necessary.

Have to say I’m impressed with the team. Wirtz showing that he can blitz through Brighton’s transition was brilliant.
There is a transition in between where Brighton shift to a 0 midfield formation and that provides wirtz his ideal hunting ground
