Severe weather conditions could create significant safety concerns around Anfield and across Merseyside.
That is why Liverpool vs Brighton Premier League game could be postponed because of Storm Boelo. The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning running from midday Saturday until 9pm Sunday.
Forecasts currently predict very windy conditions across Merseyside throughout the scheduled matchday. Wind gusts could reach between 55mph and 65mph while supporters travel towards Anfield.

If they call this off, they’ll have to make an early call, because it is at least a 5 hour journey for the Brighton fans.

I think it will be better if they call this off. I’m not that keen on facing this Brighton side.
Postpone it to another day where we can play. Hopefully when we are in our ascendancy and they have started cooling off which they eventually do over the course of a long season

It’s not as strong as the storm that caused the Goodison derby to be called off a couple of years back. I can’t imagine that it would be much fun at the top of the Main Stand, though.

Just worried at the fixtures which come later.
They are coming off a Thursday European game and have quite a few injuries. I also don’t know where we fit it in.

If we both qualify for the last 16 there is two weeks there and then there is two weeks of league cup semis if we both end up going out.
Not to mention the various fa cup dates.
I enjoy watching Liverpool at the weekend. Tighten up ffs

What about supporters who have travelled, spending time in the city? I know a guy bringing his kid to his first match this weekend. Lot of money down the drain.
