Why play a high line if you don’t have fast CBs or your first choice CBs.

Fabinho woeful as usual after a long lay off. Mane and Firmino terrible so far too.

again poor tactics playing high line the fact that you have red shirt on doesn’t make you VVD, two CB playing first time no protection no pace and just playing high line really klopp needs to look at himself and adapt

These things and a seriously lack of speed in defense. Well it is what it is, they will not get any faster. Shit happens.
To be honest TAA needs to learn to be defensively responsible, Matip and VVD are not there to cover for him. He needs to have more awareness. you know Fab is not fast enough to cover mount but u still leave him on an island. that is not the first time in this game Fabs has been left alone and run rugged. Dude is in his first game back.At least let him lube up first… someone even made the point after 30 minutes that fabs was tired…

On balance scoreline is fair. They’ve targeted the gaps left by the fbs. Fab poor for their goal. Our frontline off kilter. Again. Still there’s been enough from us in this half for me to see a way back. Bit of a boot up the arse for a couple of the lads

Imagine sending your players out to play a high line then having no pressure on the actual ball. It’s fucking dogshit tactics.

This team is finished, too many playing 60% effort. The lack of fight and effort is just pathetic. We lose every single 50/50.
