You forgot the 3-1 scoreline.
You’ll be able to get a half from Diaz and Nunez, both looked ok against Wolves on that basis.
Maca as I said is the issue here
It’s hard to believe really…After so many years of complaining about how many games we have to play at 1230pm after an Int’l break, we get rewarded with even more early KO games.
And then I saw that offside VAR decision, and it all made sense. It’s all good now. I’m good.
The fifth stage is acceptance.
Aren’t all derby games early starts now. Don’t the police prefer it to reduce the likelihood of trouble with tanked up fans?
Even if that presumption is correct, how does it explain all the other early kick offs we have to endure. More than twice the amount of the next team?
There is a decision made on some basis?
And its certainly not all about derby matches.
Why doesn’t that apply to Manchester or North London derbies? They are rarely in the lunchtime slot.
Must be because only Scousers get tanked up before games.
We have the same after the next round of International games…
SATURDAY 25TH NOVEMBER
- Manchester City12:30Liverpool
One reason cited by the police requesting an early kick-off…
Was the ‘cup with coins’ throwing incident due to fans being inebriated…!
The whole lottery for us stinks
To be honest this whole "fans being inebriated " thing is blown out of proportion, is a convenient excuse and belongs somewhere in the Eighties.
Modern policing and intelligence should be well able to limit potential flash points and trouble. The notion of supporters getting tanked up and going toe to toe may happen on a small scale, but in general its not such an issue.
The Man City game is the same, more nonsense to build advantage for City, more undeniable bias.
We can safely call out PMGOL on the Spurs debacle, thats an absolute given. Surely no one denies what a shafting LFC got that day…
We can now safely call out the PL on decisions regarding Liverpool being moved to early kick offs following international breaks. Hopefully the club tackles this as well.
We are potentially in a place to challenge City this year, hence all the shenanigans to make sure that doesn’t happen.
Perhaps a silly question but do the guys who make these decisions ever talk to journalists and if so do they ever answer tough questions?
Or do they sit in their ivory tower making decisions and the clubs have to learn and live with it?
Looks like I’ll be missing this one. I’ll be driving to the ferry port when this is on. Does anyone know if it will be on a UK national radio channel?
The return of the Gak!

I’ve got the day completely free.
Liverpool v Everton
Man City v Brighton
Chelsea v Arsenal
England v South Africa
That’s the plan in my head.
Mrs ROTW would be horrified, and I’m sure there will be some compromise.
As for our game, the early fixture stuff is ridiculous. The next team has half of the early games we do. I really want to know the reason, as that is a massive anomaly.
I just set my fantasy team for the weekend. I removed Luis Díaz as I don’t think he will start. I kept Darwin Nunez in there because I think he will start, but even if he doesn’t, he has a great chance of scoring even if he only sees 20 late minutes.
I don’t have a lot of expectations about the performance level. If we play well that’s a bonus. But just get the three points, stay up there in the league, and put another run together after the international disruption.
Of course, in Rambler land everything iis fair, equal and just!
You can miss the middle two.
You spelt “stitch-up” wrong.
Diaz, Mac Allister, Núñez, Becker and Endo are all in the training photos and should all be available for Saturday.
Kelleher and Gakpo too. No Robertson or Thiago though.
Kelleher
Endo
Mac Gakpo Diaz
Becker (target man) Nunez (poacher)
Should be good enough to beat Everton.
Good to see Gakpo in, as i said Klopp will tell us more tomorrow.
Good to see Kelleher back in too.
By the way talk of LB and Chambers.
Is that Chambers? Apologies if not they all look the same.
I don’t think so but he has a remarkably thin jawline doesn’t he, I’ve heard there’s 4 or 5 of the u21s that have been training with the first team this week, Scanlon and Mcconnell were the only 2 I’d heard of.
