Well yes and no. We’re can’t play the way we have been for the last couple of seasons with two league two (and that’s charitable) centre backs. We just can’t.
We already had two the same as them, are you even watching.

For me the key difference is its not like Klopps dropped in form players to give the squad players a go. They’ve all been bang average of late. Least we are seeing a different set of lads matching the ones we expect to perform week in week out.

The ball is coming to a player who is runnin in his own half, so impossible to be offside.
R Williams tries stepping up to get the man next to him offside, even though the ball is on the other side of the pitch. I know he’s young, but wtf.
And if fab gets injured it’s klopps fault.

That’s exactly what is prevent the blistering attacking play we’ve been used to. We can’t he needs to drop the line/protect the centre backs etc and at the same time we need to attack with numbers and abandon.
The reason we can be so good is because Van Dijk, Gomez and Matip are so good.

well, the heads seem to have dropped , as soon as that Fulham goal went in !! Klopp needs to find that clip from the Chelsea away game from his first season where he pointed to the players , keep your heads up when Ramires had scored.

The thing is, Milner is rushing to press the Fulham defender on the ball. No point in either Gini or Milner doing that. Them two should be disciplined to protect the inexperienced three at the back.
