If you say so. Pining everything on defence is just silly.
No you drop the line deeper and condense the space. Not hang them out to dry by playing a high line with inexperienced slow defenders and then compound it by not pressing them. It’s suicidal tactics, it’s not good enough.

From my perspective Milner has been our best midfielder. Working his fanny off, getting rid of the ball quickly.
We were terrible in the first half… Midfield is a concern…Too slow and lack of ideas… Only route left give it all and win the Champions League…
