Not sure how this will end up but we’ve been much better since the substitution.
Not blaming Gini for our scoring problems, but… he probably doesn’t help with his style of play.

Instability caused by centerbacks inexperienced with our style of playing, leading to compensation in covering them being needed. Our (effectively) wing-backs have to drop deeper to avoid being too exposed, and the midfield has to pull back more too. Can’t have quick interchanging play to unlock the opponents, since it draws our players upfield with less cover. Our centrebacks are also no longer Gomez and Van Dijk, who are rapid players, not just amongst centrebacks.
This leaves less gaps for us to exploit, relying more on some kind of magic from forward players who have had very little rest not just physically but mentally from the last few seasons.
But yeah we’re just shite the solution is just simple change the whole damn team isn’t it?

Silly high crosses when Fulham’s centre half’s are 6 foot plus. Need to be low and hard
